Registered access
Client and device registration, signed subscription authorization and protected device credentials control access. Licence refresh and verification can require internet.
Encrypted One Sync sessions
One Sync authenticates and encrypts supported transfers between two licensed devices. Both sides confirm the pairing code; the receiver must be active.
Protected restricted content
Diary content and managed attachments, alarm notes and history snapshots, accepted Shared Images and backup envelopes have specific protection. Not every sales, item, customer or SQLite field is individually encrypted at rest.
Image integrity, clearly explained
Hisavio Share checks image integrity and waits for receiver acknowledgement. This is not end-to-end transport encryption. POS protects accepted Shared Images in managed local storage after receipt.
Verified downloads and updates
POS update artifacts are checked for size, platform and SHA-256 integrity. The separate public Share APK is also checked for a valid Android signature and non-debuggable release status.
Backups you control
Password-protected backups use authenticated encryption. Keep backups separate from the working device, protect the password, and test restore. Recovery cannot be promised without a valid backup.
Shared responsibility
Control access to devices and login credentials, maintain updates and backups, and handle customer information lawfully. This website never asks for POS passwords, recovery codes, customer records or backup files.
Good security includes your own device access, backups and responsible customer-data handling. No software can guarantee zero data loss or protection against every threat.
